I had the pleasure to see Social Media Guru Dan Zelikman talk a couple of weeks ago at the Hawaii Chamber of Commerce Event. It was at Dan’s first Social Media Seminar that I first heard of Foursquare, now 12 badges later, i had the chance to hear what’s new in Social Media. Engagement is QUEEN
You need BOTH to make things work well
Dont do one way conversations, make sure you engage your audience in a two-way communication
Context-Stay Relevent and Human
Brand Voice and Consistency are key
Variety is good
Listen first, then share.
Social Media is a marketing Tool not a Miracle..but it’s a great Marketing Tool

I’d also Add a few things like Twitpic-makes it real easy to upload pictures to your twitter account for free and I really enjoy I web on the mac for making personal websites really easy and fun to do! There’s No need to know HTML.
